| Saving on Soap with DIY Foam Soap |
| Comment: I now save so much money by reusing a foam pump (must have the foam maker in
the lid). I use a foam pump from the supermarket but you can buy one through
kitchen parties. After using all the soap that comes in the original foam pump,
I replace it by creating dishwashing liquid detergent foam to use in the
kitchen. For the bathroom, I use liquid antibacterial hand soap to make the
foam. You only need to add maybe 3 large squirts of the original liquid soap to
the foam pump-bottle and then water to fill the rest of the container.If you
want to coordinate the color or the bathroom soap, you can add a tiny drop of
food coloring of your choice. I am sorta OCD and use to use a lot of liquid soap
but now a 24 oz. bottle will last me many months! |
