Great tip! Applied with a cotton swab, it only takes a dab!
I also use baby oil as an inexpensive skin moisturizer after bath or shower. Plain old petroleum jelly still works great on especially dry areas of feet and elbows, hands, lips, and a little goes a long way. |

Baby oil on a cotton ball is the best way to clean a baby’s bottom after a messy diaper. It cuts the mess immediately and it doesn't sting if bottom is raw. |

Better yet, use mineral oil (baby oil is made from mineral oil and perfume. It's cheaper and works well without the "baby powder" scent |

baby oil is not good for the skin or your baby. It blocks the skin pores and can be toxic to your health. |

I've never had but one bottle of eye make-up remover. It came free with a cosmetic promo set. I kept the bottle (It's about a 2 oz bottle) and have been refilling for several years with the following solution. I put about 1 teaspoon of baby shampoo and fill the remainder of the bottle with water and shake well. It does a wonderful job for makeup removal. |

Our eye doctor recommended using baby shampoo to remove mascara from eyes. I do the same as Tammy - mix it with water. My daughter and I were getting eye infections from our expensive eye make up remover we were buying from a reputable cosmetic company because it wasn't doing a good enough job.... haven't had a problem since we switched to baby shampoo. |

Great tip about the baby shampoo for eye makeup remover! I really like the way the oil type removers feel. I'll have to try the baby shampoo when the bottle of what I have now is gone. Thanks!
When using cotton balls, I buy the big size and tear them in two, they last longer that way.

I found a great eye make-up remover. I used to buy the Almay brand with 80 small round eye make-up removers for just under $5.00. Now, I buy the Wal-mart/Equate brand travel size facial cleansing cloths, 15 for under $2.00, and I cut one sheet into 12 pieces, and put them in a zip-lock baggie (you end up with 180 cleansers). One piece will remove all the eye make-up from both eyes, without irritating (like oil and cotton). |
