| My basketball team used to pay $75/person to compete in a league. A buddy of mine knew a guy that ran a local pub and we asked if they wanted to have their name put on our shirts if they would make a $200 donation to the team. Everyone made out, the pub got cheap advertising and we'd all go to the pub after games, so they got our business and we each paid $25 less to play. Plus makes the old guys feel like we still got it. Ha. |
