| Gift Card Points for Gas Savings at Safeway |

At safeway they sell giftcards for many other places like:
- AMC movie theaters
- Home Depot
- Target or Walmart
- Restaurants of many varieties
So when our family is going out to eat, the movies or shopping at home depot, target etc we buy the gift cards from safeway first! safeway gives you credit towards your gas discount when you buy gift cards, So we just buy the giftcards first then we use them for our night out or other shopping we do. This way going to the movies, out to eat, home depot etc indirectly goes towards our gas discount.
And since safeway does power pumps, the discounts add on top of each other. I have saved as much as 60 cents per gallon at fuel up....I have some friends that have gotten nearly free gas this way. So before you head out to that other store, restaurant or movie theater.....
Go to safeway to buy your giftcards first...And save extra towards your gas =). oh and before you go to Amc....sign up for your movie watcher card! Earn points towards Free concessions,discounts & movies! And don't forget...Home depot, target & walmart all except Manufacter coupons!
I find the best time to shop at these places is early morning tuesdays, wednesdays & sundays....
