Check Your Local Dump for Book and Furniture Exchanges

Submitted by: katydid  03/26/2009 10:36 PM

Our old dump in Wayland, MA was great...there was an exchange corner where people could place old books, furniture etc. so anyone could take and use them. Great source for lots of things...and totally free - not to mention environmentally friendly. Books, patio furniture, coffee tables...it's all there!

we've got one of these in my town too, an entire wall of salvaged books and all sorts of shelving, electronics, lamps, tons of stuff...

Don't know - we moved away a few years ago. I know that the dump in Wellesley, MA does a great job with it still.
