Wool Dryer Balls

Submitted by: anonymous  04/06/2009 1:03 AM

Save money using wool dryer balls in your dryer by cutting drying time and not using softeners or dryer sheets! The dryer balls speed up the drying time (saving you energy and time too) and soften laundry by gentle friction. They also absorb some of the static.

I made my own wool dryer balls from these directions and they work AWESOME!! http://goodmama.typepad.com/goodmama/2008/05/make-your-own-wool-dryer-balls.html

No more dryer sheets with toxic chemicals! And it lessens the drying time by about 20% so we save $ and help the environment by using less electricity with these balls. They are SUPER easy to make. Just make sure your yarn is 100% wool.

I find it really disappointing that Nellie's advertises their dryer balls made of PVC to be non-toxic. THey off-gas in heat which makes them toxic. False advertising big time by them. What a shame.
