Buy basic black or navy pants/skirts: when I want something new, whether it be from a department store or the thrift store, I only look for tops, blouses, jackets and I have a new outfit!

It's a good idea to base your entire wardrobe around one or maybe two neutral colors. (mine is chocolate brown and ivory, because I have dark blond hair and light skin) You always know what color to buy when your out getting something "new" whether it is shoes, tops, bottoms, underwear or outer wear!

Plus, if you know the colors and sizes of other members of the family, you can shop for them too!
