Save Energy with Solar Landscape Lights

Submitted by: christyp  04/21/2009 8:37 PM

We have a stone pathway that leads to our gazebo that had little electric lights to light the way. but rather than waste energy on accent lights we now use solar lights. they are great, they soak up energy all day and shine brightly for 2-4 hours at night. all sorts of styles available, we went for an arts & crafts look to match our house.

I got mine online at home depot, 2 for $19.97, (Solar LED Landscape Lights) and so far I have been pleased. Feels good knowing I am not wasting energy lighting my garden path.

I bought mini solor lights at the family dollar store a couple days ago for $2.50 each. I got 24 of them for $60. My garden path looks like a mini runway. So cool!
