I also heard that as part of starbuck's 'going green' that from now on if you bring your own mug you'll get 10 cents off. Wonder how they figure out the sizing? 10 cents off, makes starbucks about the same price as dunkin donuts......

just went to my local starbucks and they are not participating in this promo. guess they aren't celebrating earth day.

to jessa28 (and anyone else!),

Starbucks does give the 10 cent discount when you bring in your own mug. If it's a random mug you brought from home, they can estimate the size.

I have a Starbucks reusable that I've used for the past year, and not only do I get the 10 cents off with every visit, but I got a free latte with the initial purchase of my cup! So it has definitely paid for itself, AND I haven't sent a Starbucks cup to the landfill in over a year!!
