When I go to Burger King or China Panda, they offer free food for completing a short survey. When I fill in the code they give me on the phone, I can redeem the receipt for free food!!

Checking the back of receipts is a great idea. I've used the burger king receipt coupon a couple of times myself.

The same idea applies for grocery receipts where you'll frequently find coupons. These are known as Catalina coupons after the company that made them popular.

This is where it pays NOT to be brand loyal because often you'll find a catalina coupon for the competitor brand of an item you purchased.

If you purchased Minute Maid orange juice you may get a catalina coupon for Tropicana orange juice.

Our local grocery stores has advertisements & coupons on the back of the cash register receipts for $ off from local businesses. I save a lot on haircuts at the local beauty college that way
