Get Store Credits for Empty Ink Cartridges

Submitted by: Debra Yick  05/22/2009 10:51 AM

Save your empty ink cartridges and toners because office supply stores like Staples, Office Max and Office Depot will give you $3.00 store credit for each one to be used on any item in their store. Some stores let you bring in between 10 to 40 per month. It is a great way to make sure that ink cartridges don't go into the landfill and get something back for yourself in return.

I returned ten used ink cartridges to Staples and received a credit of $30.00. I have misplaced my card and would like something to show I have that credit please.

I refill my cartridges until until the inkheads are unusable, so I don't get my $3, but I save over $100 for each cartridge. You can't return them because you have to remove the label to refill them.

Can someone please explain why John Bolton thinks this website can get him a replacement Staples credit for the one he lost? LOL

I think you can get credit on ink cartridges at Staples whether it has a label on it or not and whether the inkcartridge head is worn or not. It only matters that it is an ink cartridge and they will take it. They judge later whether they will use it or not. If you lose your card
you can request a new one online.
