The National Park Service is offering three fee-free weekends this summer at more than 147 parks that normally have admission fees ranging from $3-$25 (the 244 other national parks do not charge entrance fees). Fees,* will be waived on the weekends of June 20-21, July 18-19 and August 15-16.
This is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the great wide open at a number of parks across the country including Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, the Badlands National Park and the Grand Canyon National Park.
For a complete list of participating parks by state, go to nps.gov
*Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.
