| 5 Tips for Finding Clothing Deals Online |

Here are some of my tips for shopping online:
1. Cardinal rule--always always look for promo codes. You are online anyways, it only takes a few seconds to browse and see if there are any coupon codes available either for % off or free shipping.
2. On smaller sites, if you put items in your cart and then leave the site, you'll sometimes see a pop-up window for a coupon code if you return and complete your purchase. I've gotten a couple of 10% off codes this way.
3. If you know specifically what you are shopping for, sign up for bargain alert sites to get the latest updates on sales for items you are shopping for. I use "shopittome" and have my favorite 3 brands of jeans listed on my wish list, so I get updates when they go on sale so I don't have to spend time searching for sales, the sales come to me.
4. Sign-up for members-only sites to get in on great deals on private online sales. Great way to get super discounted designer pieces without having to troll the sales bin. Some of my favorites: gilt.com, ideeli.com, hautelook.com, ruelala.com, billiondollarbabes.com....
5. Sign-up for newsletters from stores where you regualarly shop, they'll often send you discount codes or alert you to online sales. |
