Read Magazine and Newspapers Online

Most newspapers and magazines put their content online and don’t charge for it. I find it funny that they’ll charge you for buying the print version, but if you want to read the article online, you can do so for free. It doesn’t make much sense to me, but I won’t complain as I rarely buy magazines or newspapers anymore (only usually when traveling and away from a computer). If you figure pre-Internet, I subscribed to a daily newspaper and 4 magazines and now don’t subscribe to any, I’m probably saving a couple hundred dollars a year. Plus, I used to buy magazines and newspapers at the newsstand for specific articles I want to reach, which I can now do for free online. That’s probably another $20-$40 in savings per year.
