If you are thinking about buying a timeshare think outside the box. Don't limit yourself to only ones in your state but consider buying one from a different state instead. The person selling them can usually make arrangements for you to use weekend getaways in your state even though the timeshare is in another. Also consider timeshares that have been reposessed it will save you a ton of money.
If you are planning on traveling alot with your timeshare, purchase one from a small or not as popular place for less and then just go to the nicer ones when you take your vacations.
If you don't want to purchase a timeshare but would like the luxury of staying in one a lot of timeshares will rent out empty timeshares for the week for significantly less than the cost of a hotel/motel. Some money is better than no money. The downside is it would be a last minute arrangement and you could find yourself in a motel anyway |
