A even more cost-effective way to DIY dermabrasion at home is use your ordinary cleanser on a wet washcloth, add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to the cleanser. Gets rid of dry skin, softens, and leaves skin glowing. Use gentle circular motion when applying. Rinse thoroughly. Cost is an extra penny or two, instead of buying kits for upwards of $10.

It is a standard joke around here that I buy Miracle Whip salad dressing and apply it to my body, rubbing gently. It really releases the dry skin cells easily, leaving fresh and vibrant skin underneath. Of course, you'll have to shower thoroughly after you use this method, but it really works!

After your bath or shower, apply a light coat of baby oil to your still damp skin. It seals in the moisture.

I use organic coconut oil on my face under my daily moisturizer. It's light enough so it absorbs quickly and doesn't make me break out. Perfect for the winter!
