Teething Rings

Submitted by: anonymous  06/02/2008 3:52 PM

Instead of buying teething rings, I find that my kids are just as happy with mini-frozen bagels, instead. Their favorite - a wet washcloth that I put in the freezer and voila you've got a cooling soothing baby teether.

A mini-bagel "chewy" toy poses a HUGE choking hazard. Buy a $2.50 reusable freezable toy instead of the $4.00 bag of "disposable" mini-bagels. Also - this also promotes excessive calorie intake for a toddler - in the end promoting obesity.

Teething rings are $1.00 at just about any store. And at most $5.00. Something are just better buying the actual product verses cutting costs. Popsicles are also nice. You can make your own sugar free kind...made with real fruit.
