Drink Kool-Aid instead of Crystal Light

Submitted by: anonymous  11/15/2009 5:04 AM

Unsweetened Kool-Aid plus sweet stuff is a whole lot cheaper than Crystal Light and other diet drink brands that come in the little tubs. And you can choose what sweetener to use - sugar, nutrasweet, splenda, or truvia. Try using a gallon pitcher and combining flavors for interesting taste varieties.

Hey I didn't know that Kool-aid offered a sugar free product. I'll give it a try! I tend to drink more warm herbal teas during the fall and winter though. Come spring and summer I drink a lot more flavored cold water.

kool-aid might be cheaper with sugar, but, if you can not have sugar and use alternative sweetners, it is much more expensive. Also, sugar is not that good for the figure.

I am all about saving $, but the point of drinking Crystal Light is it only having 5 calories for every 32 oz. So Kool-aid w/ sugar or sweetner makes no sense.
