Any Suggestions for Affordable Cleanses?

Submitted by: In Need of Detoxification  05/18/2010 11:18 AM

I have been reading a lot of detoxifying body cleanses and have been thinking about trying one out. I was going to order the weekly cleanse kits but with prices upwards of $210 for the week and some even at $90/day, I thought I'd poll the Tip Hero to community to see if there are any suggestions for a way to do this on a budget.

My brother did the cayenne pepper and lemon juice cleanse and said he felt amazing afterwards and that it really did clean out the system. Might have to try that...

Thanks!

Do it the Vidal Sassoon way. Eat Monday breakfast, no Monday lunch or dinner or Tuesday breakfast. Tuesday lunch should be light such as fruit.
Do this every week.

If you maintain a healthy lifestyle, I don't see the reason for a body cleanse.

But if you still want one, you could try a totally raw diet, as in, eat only fruits and vegetables that could be consumed raw, and have fruits and vegetables for separate meals, do not mix the two.

Your brother's cayenne pepper and lemon juice cleanse should have real maple syrup in it. (Lemonade). U could do that for up to 10 days.
