Guest Room Tip for Managing Sheets

Submitted by: anonymous  08/16/2010 12:35 PM

I have a guest room that is used by my kids' teenage friends, relatives and traveling friends. I usually don't change the sheets until a guest is coming. Since I sometimes can't remember who slept there last, I have started leaving an index card with last guest's name under the pillow. This way, I know I do not have to change the sheets if the same guest is coming.

One of my kids' friends sleeps here several times a year. Rather than washing her sheets when I take them off the bed for another guest, I put the friend's used sheets in a grocery bag with her name card, and save them for when she comes again. I wash the sheets only when she has slept in them a few times.
