What to Do With Leftover Wine

If you've opened a bottle of wine and don't have the opportunity to finish it in a week or so, or you don't have enough left for a full glass, take a look at the other great things you can do with it.

  • Make a Marinade: there are lots of different marinades you can make, with both red and white wines.

  • Sauces: jazz up ordinary meals by experimenting with different sauces. You could try this easy red wine pan sauce for starters.

  • Freeze It: pour extra wine into an ice cube tray to ensure that it's at the ready for the recipes you'll need wine for in the future.
