How to Save Money on Movie Tickets with Angie's List

Submitted by: anonymous  08/05/2008 10:10 PM

I buy my movie tickets ahead of time on Angie's List. They offer the discounted ticket prices of $6.50 at AMC/Loews/General Cinemas and Regal Cinema/United Artists. I usually buy a six pack of tickets and use them throughout the year. Only catch -- you have to be a member of Angie's List, which is about $25/year (but well worth the price, as Angie's List provides a lot of value, particularly if you own your own home).

Another good option if you're going to go with that pay per year thing, is to get the Entertainment book. It's full of coupons you can use to buy tickets at discoutnted prices. It costs maybe $50, halfway through the year they reduce it to $25, AND it has a bunch of other good coupons in your local area.

I agree with Amber. The Entertainment book has coupons that give discounts on movie tickets. Besides that it offers great discounts on dining, fast food, entertainment, retail stores, etc.

FYI, I have written an article on my blog on the pros and cons of the Entertainment book.

And it currently costs only $25 with FREE SHIPPING and discounts valid till November 2009. This offers lasts only for the next couple of weeks.
