Buy a New Wire Harness for Your Sigma Bike Speedometer

Submitted by: anonymous  08/06/2008 2:52 PM

Recently, someone ripped the Sigma Sport speedometer off of my bike and just through it on the ground (no comment on how ridiculous people are). The wire was completely ripped off of the magnet, but the removable computer component was fully functioning. Initially, I thought I would have to buy a completely new speedometer, but then realized I could just solder the wire back in place-which i did and it totally works fine. Now, I know, most people don't have access to a soldering gun, but I did some research and found that you can buy a spare wiring harness as I assume these cables are ripped off quite frequently. I found the exact harness I needed for $7.99. So I avoided the cost of an entire new system and also avoided the hassle of recalibrating a new speedometer--time and money saver! check out this site for deals on spare wire sets:
