We love getting tips from our readers! One reader recently posted a tip about a great way to save on shaving lotion. And while the tip is specifically for ladies, it also works as a shaving tip for men. To read more about this money-saving tip, check out the tip titled "Cheap Shaving Lotion for Ladies".

Another great reader tip comes from Brenda M. who tells us how we can save money on coffee while at the same time getting a richer brew. To read more about this money-saving tip, check out her post titled "For Stronger Coffee".

And yet another recent reader tip explains how to save money on home owner’s insurance. Writes one of our newest TipHero's, beebauer, “Review your policy with your agent…In the case of a [rate] decrease, the company will not automatically move you to the better rated (meaning lower priced) product. So ASK!” To learn more, check out this tip titled "Do a review of your policies with your agent at least every 3 years".

We know you’ve got a great tip or two of your own. Please share it with our community and be a TipHero!

I was a school nurse and in our area 67% of the population was at the poverty level or below. We have a local newspaper so I decided to run some ads to ask for things that I observed that my students and their families needed. The newspaper ran these ads free of charge and the response was incredible! I was able to collect baby clothes and baby items for families, paint that people had in their storage garages, all kinds of furniture, household goods, wood and fuel donations, food, help in fixing outside stairs, and even jobs and apartments! All were donations and it was all because I was not afraid to ask. The donations were delivered to my home and I would deliver them anonymously. It is amazing how many things people are willing to donate if only asked! The best part was seeing the students being so happy after donations were delivered to their families!
