Planning a vacation can be fun and exciting, but it's important to not forget to plan and budget for all of the costs involved in traveling. If you're planning a trip soon, check out some of the things that you may be forgetting to budget for:

Foreign Currency Exchange: you should plan on paying a fee to exchange your currency if you're traveling overseas. Check your credit cards to figure out which has the lowest foreign currency exchange fee.

In-Flight Entertainment: consider what you'll need to keep yourself entertained on the flight. Don't be lured into buying magazines and such at the airport. Make sure to plan ahead.

Airport Transportation/Parking: the cost of getting to the airport can actually be quite expensive. Look into all your options (taxi, shuttle, leaving your car at the airport, having a friend drop you off) and see which is your best option.
