Save Money on Lawyers by Paying for "Legal Insurance"

Over the last few months, I have needed some minor legal assistance (writing my will, consulting on employment rights, fighting a traffic ticket), but have found even minor legal fees to be outrageous. Then I heard about Pre-Paid legal (one of my friends actually gets this service as part of her employee benefits package!).
It basically works like insurance, you pay a small fee a month (I pay $26.95/month) and have access to unlimited phone consults, document and contract review and unlimited phone calls and letter writing as needed - no matter where you are. Particularly beneficial for small businesses that cannot afford to hire full time in-house counsel but could benefit from having a lawyer on hand.
Also found out that my monthly fee includes Identity Theft Protection and restoring services which I think is going to be more and more critical as we have more security breeches ie the TJX disaster.
If you want more information on Pre-paid legal, you can check out their website online or you can get in touch with my contact Becky Sama at sama(dot)beck(at)yahoo(dot)com, she manages my account in NH.
