We just got an Element 32" LCD at Kmart(avoided the crowds on Black Friday.... went Thanksgiving day) for $399.00 (Walmart had another brand for $388.00 on Fri) Set up was EASY...they included batteries for remote and even"screwdriver" for setup! Directions were easy...and I must say the picture is beautiful!!! We figured we could always take it back if we didn't like it....but so far so VERY good! |

bought a sony wega 52" that had a scratch on the upper left corner and got almost half off from the brandsmart outlet store. We paid $1000. great tv, with all the extras plus an extra 5 years warranty. All because of a scratch in the corner that you cant even see. We LOVE this tv, did a lot of comparison shopping and looking around. Still havent found anything that comes close. |

sears price matches circuit city, walmart and best buy. walmart seems to always have prolems with their stuff , not to mention, Higher priced. so i got a 32 inch HDTV sony from sears price matched to circuit city. two weeks later c.c. dropped the price more, took the receipt in to sears and got $30 for me. Sony is fantastic. TV man went straight to sears after he saw my tv and heard the price!! |

We bought our 48 inch flat screen at Sears for 50 per cent off. We paid about 700$ for it AND got it for no interest for a year by using our Sears card. |

I bought a 46" Sony 1080p with 120hz for $1279 at Sears. Visited the store and salesperson gave me all of the information on the television that I wanted. She promised to call me if the t.v. went on sale. When it went down to $1499, she called & also suggested that I check all of their competitors websites to see if I could find a cheaper price. If I found a price that was cheaper, Sears would price match and give me 10% of the difference. I found the t.v. at Howard's for $1299. Sears price matched and gave me and additional $20. A great price and great service |

Yes! I got a 32in Samsung $499. I have been watching prices on this set for a while, which have been hovering around $650. A couple of days ago, I noticed that it popped up on the front page of Deal Linker for just $499... Amazon was selling it, but they were out... However, Crutchfield also had it in stock at the same price. |

I got a flat screen 40" Sony Bravia HDTV at BJ's for my dad yesterday--the sale was $200 off the $1099 price, so I picked one up for only $899. |

Brandsmart is the way to go. Go there on January 1st when they have their "display model" sale. We bought a fabulous flat screen there last year and my husband has been counting down all year to their next sale. |

We purchased two flat-screen HDTVs at Best Buy.
They were "out of the box" which means they had been returned. One was returned to the store because the remote did not work. The only thing the remote needed was new batteries. The TV have their original warranty. |

You can ask the associates which TV's are recently being discontinued - either due to new model or such and then, you may be lucky enough to get an "in box" discounted purchase- most of the time any floor models on that list will be sold at up to 70% off. We don't usually shop at HHgregg because they are more expensive but I look everywhere when researching- We recently bought a flat panel, plasma TV display model 42" Sony for $599- It's original price was $1349! The books and remote were still with it and all warranties still applied- HHGreggg came through on that purchase for us! Best Buy will do the same on deals - you have to ask though! |

use low price search engines such as pricegrabber, shopzilla, nextag, calibex bounti, etc. and amazon for a good overview. also get a "sqauretrade" brand warranty for anything you purchase. read the customer reviews of them at amazon and call 877 warranty to put one into effect.. they even will do refurbished extensions though for shorter time frames... |
