| Twist Ties to Slow the Flow of Liquid Soap |

With five kids, we really go through liquid soap! Once I realized how much excess soap those dispensers waste per pump, I figured it was time to cut back on the flow. Those clear vinyl-covered twist ties used to hold toys in their packaging really came in handy!
I twist one of those long ties several times around the stem of the dispenser (enough to cover about half of the stem). A few tight twists to hold the ends together, and voila! The dispenser gives out only half of what it did - and the kids (and us) don't miss the extra!
