| Consider the Floor Models |

I have been obsessed with the ergonomically superb and environmentally friendly line of office chairs made by Steelcase. Incredibly comfortable, adjustable and certified Cradle to Cradle rating (one of the highest green standards out there). I work from home and spend long hours at my desk, but still could not justify purchasing a $600 to $1000 chair.
Despite my reservations, I decided to go to a local showroom just to check out the chairs and see if they were offering any end of the year discounts. Once there, I saw my beloved chair and inquired about possibly purchasing a floor model. The kind rep, responded softly, yes, we have floor models available. The price? I asked. $150. $150 for a masterly designed chair with a lifetime warranty!! Was thrilled. And will likely go back there the next time I need a piece of furniture. |
