Save Your Old Calendars

Submitted by: anonymous  01/09/2009 3:18 PM

If you buy a new calendar each year, just save the old one and it will be ready for you on year 8 (Leap year plus 7 days.) The leap year calendar will take longer. But it is still a savings for the other years.

This is the first time I've ever seen this noted by anybody but me... but I don't understand the formula noted above. The way I do it for old calendars at flea markets and rummage sales is to check today's date (or any date you can remember) to see if the day of the week matches. Check for leap year and you've got it!
Here's a website that tells what calendars match what years: http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/?year=1998&country=1 .
