Buy at Costco--Membership Not Required!!

Costo has good prices on wine. One I purchase at Walmart is $9.54 and it's $7.99 at Costco. You don't need a membership there to get prescriptions or wine and liquor. Just walk in and tell them you just came for wine. You pay the same price as if you had a membership. Nice selection too.

Well I tried this in South St Louis and was told that I could not buy without a membership. : ( and since I don't live there I wasnt paying 50.00 for a bottle of 7.99 wine.

Costco does NOT sell wine without a membership.
Don't know about the liquor. Will check on that tomorrow.

The Costco stores in middle Tennessee do not require membership to buy wine, nor do the ones at Sams. The entrance to those stores are separate from the main store. Tennessee does not allow alcohol other than beer to be sold in any grocery stores. Perhaps in other areas that do allow it you may purchase it in the regular stores, which would require membership.

It is illegal for costco to require a membership to buy alcohol, or use their Pharmacy. It doesnt matter the State as long as it is in the US.
