Do these work thru the night, as well? I've tried Target diapers for our daughter and they leak at night...

To mkwhittenburg---I have used these diapers for my son and they work fabulously day AND through the night. And, they're rather soft for a generic brand. I swear by them.

Parents choice gave my daughter a rash, I also get rashes from certain types of pads. Weird right? I use the White cloud, it is also cheap and also at Walmart. Target brand do leak if they are too big, but the pull ups from target are great because they have the velcro on the sides, just like huggies.

I like the Target brand, but my son does leak at night, So I use a coupon and buy either huggies or luvs and just use one at bedtime.

I have 4 boys and have used them on the last 3; originally because of cost but now because they work! My SIL was a PAMPERS user and because of money took my suggestion and switched. She told me they were better than Pampers & cost a whole lot less!
I love them and have NEVER had a bad experience...
DON'T forget PARENT'S CHOICE WIPES...They're thicker and work better! They even have organic ones too!

I have to disagree with you. I order diapers from Amazon and pay a lot less than you pay for those leaky parents choice that smell!
I earn giftcards for amazon through various sites and take advantage of the subscribe and save services.
This was my last diaper order from Amazon.

I use cheaper diapers during the day then the more expensive diaper at night b/c they absorb more.

I have used Parent's Choice diapers for two and a half year, and have rarely had trouble with leaking, even at night. They are so much cheaper than everything else and work just as well!

I have 2 in diapers right now and I swear by parents choice. I have used the more expensive brands on my older children and I found that even the huggies overnights will leak if your child has had a lot to drink. so if you have problems with leaking think about giving your child less to drink at night.

When my youngest son was in diapers, he would leak through at night. The way I solved this problem was to buy cheap maxi pads and put one in the front of his diaper when he was put to bed. The pad will stick to the diaper and absorb right in front where a little boy needs it.

We just became foster parents and have an 18 month and I have been using Parent's Choice. She has started leaking but I went to next size of diaper and that worked. I used cloth diapers for my four but that was 25 years plus ago.

We had the same problem until i started using generic overnight maxi pads. I place in my daughters diaper in the front vertically. She hasn't soaked the crib yet. I buy then at discount outlets such as aldi's Biglots, Dollar General etc. I hope it works for all of you too.

We find Costco diapers are a consistent, predictable budget way to buy diapers. We use them in the daytime, when we are awake and able to monitor them and change as needed or deal with problems. We use high quality Pampers Cruisers (bought in quantity, on sale, and with coupons) at night to maximize the time between diaper changes and minimize the chance of leaks.

Why not cloth-diaper? This is by far the cheapest option and I have yet to see a baby who is allergice to cotton. Cloth wipes too. At least you won't be throwing money in the trash (literally)!

i've found that different brand diapers fit babies diff ways. huggies works for my friends kids, but parents choice works for mine. i don't think they smell, and cloth diapers can be messy ;(

I use cloth diapers. I bought Kushies with velcro closures. I got them at Walmart.com. They are just as easy to use as disposables... but they cost thousands of dollars less. I needed 25 diapers. I bought them for about $50 for each pack of 5. That was $250. I rinse the messy ones before washing them in the washer with regular detergent and a half cup of vinegar.
They are well worth the money since I will never need to buy more. They have worked well for almost a year and we have about a year more to go before potty training.
I used an old blanket and cut it into 8 inch squares to use as baby wipes. I used a cup of water, a squirt of baby oil, and a squirt of baby wash, to wet the wipes and I keep them in a tupperware container near the changing table. These get washed and reused and don't need replacing either. For any mother looking to save money...reusable things are the way to go.
Any Item that is disposable will appear to be easy to use but the cost is off balance. Washing diapers in a machine and drying them in the machine, and tossing the clean ones in a drawer, is just as easy as taking the diaper pail out the the trash and cleaning the pail and getting rid of the smell. For us we use a bucket with a cup of vinegar in the soaking water and leave it out of sight in the bathtub.
So in 2008 I bought the diapers, and in 2009 I will spend nothing. The cost of washing is not considered because we wash every other day anyway. If this note makes anyone try cloth diapers... then I did a good thing in sharing this.

I agree about the ease of cloth diapers. Ask for them if you think someone is going to throw you a baby shower. Better to get cloth diapers than some expensive "cute" outfit the baby will wear for five minutes.

I like the idea about using a pad inside of a diaper. My little one is soaking through, no matter what brand or size we try. I usually get Walgreens brand. I need to try Parent's Choice. I know I don't like the Parent's Choice wipes though. They feel too papery to me. They do the job, yes, but that's one thing I splurge on. I love them because I'll also grab a wipe to wash my own hands, or to freshen up if I'm outside sweating.
