| Make sure that your tires are properly inflated, which helps with fuel efficiency. Supposedly your car can lose air slowly without any punctures (just part of the natural flow of air through the rubber and through areas near the valve and where the tire connects to the wheel) without you noticing and that over time it can have become considerably under-inflated, which in turns causes you to burn more gas unnecessarily. Regular check-ups (which you can do on your own) will help ensure that your tires are properly inflated. |
