DIY Kitchen Scraper

Submitted by: anonymous  01/23/2009 4:29 PM

When I run out of foil, wax paper, or any other roll that has a serated edge, I cut it out with scissors and I divide it into different lengths. I make sure I leave a sturdy half inch or so of the cardboard attached for strengh and leverage. A wide piece makes the best scraper for burnt toast and it only takes 3 or 4 swipes.

I also use it to scrape gobs of dirt off the floor that my mop cant budge.

If you get an offer in the mail for a credit card that has the plastic sample for you to see, that works as a great plate and pan scrapper without scratches!

The plastic "sample" credit cards that come in the mail are great for getting crumbs off my smooth top stove.
