Google for Coupons Before You Buy Online

Submitted by: anonymous  02/11/2009 2:03 PM

When you purchase on line and you come to a section which asks for a coupon code, stop! That means there is one and I have generally found it by googling the stores name and adding "coupon".(example: Pottery Barn coupon)I recently got 25% off of a rug and saved $55.00. I have gotten free shipping this way as well. Takes a few minutes to search but it's definitely worth the trouble.

I love saving on coupons also, and have found the best way is to make sure that my coupons are organized, that way I can take advantage of all the sales and match up with sales and double and triple coupons. I bought a binder (3 ring notebook) and some baseball collector sheets that would normally hold 9 cards per sheet, then I sent thru my coupons and organized based on type of food, etc, paper products, cleaning, meats, diary, canned, frozen, etc, there is no right or wrong way, the way you organize should be what makes sense to you, then take binder when you shop, I also add the food savings coupons in the back or front pouch for say Hardees, Pizza Hut, etc, etc. The thing to remember on the double and trip offers are to make sure and know your prices, sometimes, even with the added coupons values, you do better at another grocery store. Anyway, it is a learning process, the more you work at it the better you get at it.
